Elite Model Look Contest

Dear readers, 

After much deliberation I decided to participate in the Elite Model Look Contest. Elite Models is one of the most important and famous modeling agencies of Belgium. I have thought about it for many months, but today I finally signed up for it. 

I'm so excited, but also sooooo nervous! The casting will take place saturday May 18th in Genk, Limburg so I have 3 weeks to prepare for it! 

What I would like to achieve for I go to the casting:

- To exercise and fitness, a lot!, so I lose a kilo or two

- A healthier lifestyle by taking lots of fruits and vegetables 

- To take care of my face so it will be beautiful and healthy by then 

- Practice my walk and my posing

What a day!

Hey peeps!

You know those days that really start sucky but then something happens you hadn't seen coming in a million years? Today it was one of those very rare days!

This afternoon I joined my boyfriend, Stephen, to a casting of an advertising agency named Square Melon. It's a company that specializes in making a brand more famous and bringing it closer to the consumer and they try to achieve this by doing a lot of promotions. 
When we walked in the waiting room I saw there were a dozen others who were also waiting to participate in the casting. After a few minutes a guy came in and took everyone, including Stephen, upstairs to a room to start the casting. I was left alone in the room to wait untill my boyfriend was done. 
Then fate came along: a girl who was to late for the casting entered the waiting room and asked where everyone was. I said they were already upstairs so she went for a staff member who could guide her to the others. When that guy came in he said to the girl he would escort her AND he asked me if I also was there for the casting? I said "no, I would like to but I am not registered, so I'm just waiting for my boyfriend". To which he replied: "Just come along and participate in the casting!" I was so excited but so nervous at the same time! I just really couldn't believe I was this lucky!
When we entered the room I saw the astonished face of Stephen and the presentation powerpoint started. It was a short introduction of the company and the staff and what they expected from us in the futur. Now came the most frightening part. Still not able to believe all that was happening, I had to take part in an interview, for which I didn't even had the time to prepare! Luckily it was an interview per three so I was more at ease. 
As third group we were next in line when all of a sudden a women came and called us into her room to do the interview. At first sight she looked really scary and severe but she was actually a very friendly woman. The conversation went great, we just had to say a few things about ourselves like hobbies, studies, ... and she concluded we had the perfect profile for the job. Soooooooo she asked if we would like to enter the Minute Maid promo team and if we were able to come TOMORROW already for a briefing of a job!!! My answer: fuck yeah! 
So I think everyone could agree it was one of those very special days! I went to the company to sit in the waiting room for an hour but instead I have a well-paid student job that starts tomorrow. Thank you lord!

Home and sick

Hi readers, 

I know it has been an awfully long time! Last monday I went on a trip to Gent to prepare a summer volleybal camp as an attendant. For the past couple of days I came up with a bunch of cool games with my friends, ate and drank a lot and more important had loads of fun! We went paint balling which ended up in a blue spot on my bum hurrah!
Now I'm home and I'm lying sick in my bed. Hopefully I will be back on my feet soon.
